The Experience Counts Program

PDF Print E-mail

"The Experience Counts Program will provide experienced educators the opportunity to share their expertise with school districts both public and private in order to support programs that work and to improve programs using best practices. We want to honor those teachers and administrators who have dedicated their careers to helping students gain the skills and training needed to be successful citizens of the 21st century."

Seminars

Molina will be sponsoring seminars for second, third, and possibly fourth year principals. The purpose of these seminars will be to provide administrators continued professional development around the Power Standards for Site Administrators; in addition these seminars will focus on a book by Michael Fullan about what the best leaders do to help their organizations survive and thrive - "The Six Secrets of Change".

An integral part of the seminars will be the opportunity to hear retired experienced educators share their expertise around the focus of the seminars.

Meetings

Principals or site administrators will participate in four seminars in the late fall and early spring. Molina will provide the text for the seminar as well as the location. In addition, if the schools need books, Book Buddies will provide books for the site. A final meeting will be held in the late spring for feedback from the participants.
