I read the book “Junie B. Jones – One Man Band”  by Barbara Park.  I love Junie B.  I like this book because Junie B. Jones comes up with great ideas.  For example, she never remembers her teacher’s name – so she always calls her “Miss”  I think that is really funny, and so is Junie B.

My book was, “Judy Moody was in a mood.  Not a good mood.  A bad mood by Megan McDonald.  This is the best chapter book I have ever read.  I think girls ages 7-10 would love this book.  Judy Moody is very funny and she makes me laugh with her silly thoughts.

I read “Arthur’s First Sleepover” by Marc Brown. Arthur was getting ready for a sleepover in a tent in his backyard.  He invited his friends.  Then they heard there might be aliens but they were not afraid.  The made signs that said “We are your friends” and “Please do
my homework” in case the aliens showed up.  They had fun at their sleepover.  Kids in 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade would like to read this book.

I love to read “Goosebumps” by R.L. Stine.  I just finished “Goosebumps – The Haunted Mask”  This was a scary book.  I read all night long, it was so scary I didn’t want to turn out the lights.  I think this book is good for ages 8 or 9, but kids younger than that might get too scared.  (it is a good scared – not a bad scared)

The book that was my favorite to read was, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid – Rodrick Rules” I like this book.  Rodrick is mean to his younger brother, Gregory.  They also have a younger brother, Manny, but he is more like a baby so Rodrick picks on Greg. Wimpy Kid is a funny book, I love the cartoons and the things the kids get to do in the books.  Everyone should read Wimpy Kid, especially if they have an older brother.

The scariest Goosebumps book EVER is “Ghost Camp”  I read this book in 2 days.  It was so scary.  These kids go to this camp, and there other campers do weird things.  One girl put her hand in the campfire and doesn’t get hurt.  A boy sticks a metal pole in his foot and it doesn’t hurt him.  The other kids get scared because maybe the other campers are ghosts?  You should read this book to find out.

I read “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” by Jeff Kinney.  This book is good because it is funny.  I want to read all of the Wimpy Kid books.  They are like cartoons. All of my friends love the Wimpy Kid books.

My book was “Rescue – A Police Story” by Alison Hart.  It is a book about armed robbers, they try to rob a bank and take hostages.  The Police try to help, it is dangerous.  This book was scary, but I liked to read about the police.  I don’t think kids should read this until they are about 9 years old.

My book was “Great White Sharks” by Sandra Markle.  I like the part when the Great White Shark was chasing the other fish and sharks, trying to eat them.  They get their energy by the food they eat.  They will eat anything, even trash in the ocean. It was an interesting book to read and I learned a lot about Sharks.

I read a fun book called “Horrible Harry and the Triple Revenge” It was written by Suzy Kline.  I liked this book because Harry and his friends have a big imagination and they are always on a great adventure.
