Sorority sisters join together to help Book Buddies!

Yesterday I was invited to speak to a great group of wonderful young ladies, the Pi Beta Phi Chapter at USC.  Having a mother and sister that were Pi Phi’s (my college didn’t have sororities) I knew that they had a long history of being philanthropic and have supported literacy for many years.

This dynamic group of women are sponsoring a book drive for us this week, and after meeting with them last night, they are enthusiastically collecting books for the children we serve.  Thank you ladies for graciously inviting me to visit with you, for taking the time to collect books for kids, and for your contribution to improving literacy.
