cat1My husband and I have adopted two cats – or rather – they have adopted us (since they rule the house and allow us to live there)  June is always a dangerous month for me – since kitten season is here and there are adorable, fuzzy little faces popping up everywhere.  I don’t even stop and look in a cardboard box outside of the supermarket anymore, because I know if I bring home another cat, the house is going to be a little too crowded.  (Maybe we should just buy a bigger house?)

So I try to squelch my maternal instincts with cat books, and thank goodness, there are plenty out there.  I am a sucker for photographs of adorable kitties, and here are some of my favorite books:

Cat Naps: The Key to Contentmentcat2
Cat-titudes to Live By (Hardcover) by Rachael Hale and
Smitten: A Kitten's Guide to Happiness by Rachael Hale
Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World by Vicki Myron

Happy Reading!
