The Molina Foundation Honors Volunteers at 2013 Volunteer Banquet

On Friday, May 31, 2013, The Molina Foundation held its annual Volunteer Banquet and Awards Ceremony at the Kiwanis Club in Lomita, California. Volunteers were horned by The Molina Foundation for the service they provided to the Foundation during the 2012-2013 school year.

Every volunteer who provided service of at least 9, 12, 15, or 18 hours was presented a certificate of appreciation for all of their hard work.

In addition, special recognition was given to individuals and groups with the following special awards:

·        Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Kimberly Sayles for providing outstanding service to The Molina Foundation throughout the year

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

·        Loyalty Award was awarded to Samantha Tsumaki, now a high school student, who has been volunteering with us since she was a middle school student

 

 

 

 

 

·        The Dr. Martha Bernadett Award was awarded to Cierra Coughlin for showing outstanding leadership and organizational skills along with having a high number of volunteer service hours

 

 

 

 

 

 

·        Service Club of the Year Award went to Narbonne High School for providing the largest number of hours of any group volunteering at The Molina Foundation

 

 

 

 

 

 

·        New Service Club Awards went to the Narbonne High School Key Club, North Torrance High School Key Club , Mira Costa High School Key Club, Harbor Teacher Preparatory Academy Key Club, and Marymount College Rotaract for beginning their groups association with The Molina Foundation this year

 

·        Contact Awards went to the member of each group who served as the contact person for that group

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

·        Friend of The Foundation Award was presented to Terry Bichlmeier of Bichlmeier Insurance Services in Redondo Beach and a member of the Rotary Club of Redondo Beach, for his support and partnership with The Molina Foundation throughout the previous year
